Location is not updating
Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Can I See It and select While Using the App. Return to the app and tap Refresh Location.
The compass looks wrong
Move away from cars, metal railings, speakers and magnetic phone cases. Wave the phone in a figure eight, then use Bearing Correction if the AR path remains offset.
The AR view is unavailable
Augmented reality requires a supported iPhone and camera permission. Eclipse times, direction and altitude remain available even when live AR is unavailable.
Safe solar viewing
Never look directly at the Sun during a partial phase. Use certified ISO 12312-2 eclipse glasses or a proper front-mounted solar filter. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe.
